ABOUT
zckr.dev is the personal engineering lab of Zac Acker, an AI engineer. It exists so that experiments — agents, MCP servers, tools, games, local-inference infrastructure — have somewhere to live in public while they are still rough. This is deliberately not a portfolio: the professional, polished version of the same person lives at acker.cloud.
The operating thesis: not everything needs to ship, but everything should teach something. Work is tracked through an honest lifecycle — ideas become experiments in the lab, some ship, and the ones that die get a documented cause of death in the graveyard instead of being quietly deleted. Findings land as notes, the tools in use are listed with reasons on the stack page, and currents says what is actually happening this month.
The site itself is one of the experiments: a statically generated monorepo where every page is a projection of validated data, largely built by AI agents under human direction. The full story — build pipeline, design rules, AI disclosure — is on the colophon. Entries marked sample are seed data still being replaced with real work.
