ACTIVEagent
remediator
Fixes what the audit found, and is forbidden from making a finding disappear by editing the check.
- Model
- opus
- Tools
- ReadEditWriteGrepGlobBash
- Definition
- .claude/agents/remediator.md
- Project
- agent-harness
- Cost
- One Opus pass with write access, plus a full matrix re-run.
WHEN IT RUNS
Fixes HIGH and MEDIUM findings from a doubt audit, then re-verifies. Use after the doubt agent has written .buildloop/review-report.md. Forbidden from editing tests to make findings disappear.
CONTEXT
.buildloop/review-report.md and the source files its findings name.
MEMORY
None. It appends a REMEDIATION section to the review report: finding, change, file:line, and the check that now passes.
EVALUATION
The specific failing check passes with its output pasted, and then the whole verification matrix passes — a fix that breaks a different check is not a fix.
WHERE IT FAILS · 3
- Fixes the symptom. A drifted number gets corrected without anyone asking why nothing caught the drift.
- Reaches for a test edit when a check genuinely looks wrong, instead of raising it as a new finding and leaving it.
- Takes a decision that was the human's — a rename, a scope cut, anything outward-facing.
LESSONS · 1
- Splitting the auditor from the fixer costs an extra pass and buys the one thing a single agent cannot give you: a finding that cannot be resolved by rewriting the evidence.
