Brand Assets
The shared asset and snippet repository that sat behind acker.cloud and thrivecmd.com while both were rented Super.so sites, the part of a rented CMS you could still keep in version control.
CREATED MAY 30, 2025 · UPDATED MAR 11, 2026
PROBLEM
Super.so gives you three injection slots and no history. Paste CSS into a text box and the previous version is gone, along with any idea of why it changed.
HYPOTHESIS
Keep the snippets in git and serve them from a CDN, and the hosted CMS keeps its convenience while the design gets diffs, blame and rollback.
ARCHITECTURE
One directory per site, one per page, and up to three files per page following a head/css/body convention that maps onto Super's three slots. Static files are served straight from the repository over jsDelivr, so a push is a deploy and a revert is a revert.
STACK
RESULT
In service for both production sites. Two brands, one pipeline.
LEARNINGS
- The bit of a hosted CMS worth owning is the stylesheet, and a CDN pointed at a repo is enough to own it.
- A naming convention that mirrors the host's slots removes the only step where you can paste the wrong thing.
